This is a fresh role in our growing Finance department that reports directly to the Finance Manager who is based in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a direct hand in shaping and molding the global finance function for the coming years and do this with scale and growth in mind. You will support and collaborate with all business functions within Tines and together assist our rapidly growing business to balance the needs of Corporate Finance with Tines’ present and future company goals and objectives.
What You Will be Doing:
- Work with the accounting function ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate execution of accounting processes and reports
- Analysis of accounting issues and building upon existing accounting policies and procedures applicable to the business
- Assist in the statutory audit process with service providers and auditors
- Continuous review of internal controls and procedures to ensure adequate financial and non-financial checks and balances are in place to safeguard validity of the balance sheet.
- Work on specific finance projects related to automation and continuous improvement of the accounting and finance functions
- Manage the accounts payable process for the Group
- Manage bank reconciliations of the group
- Assist senior accountant with month end accounting
- Support Finance team in ad hoc activities
What You Bring with You:
- Motivated individual looking to begin develop their career in finance. One year's experience but willing to consider graduates.
- Self-starter and independent thinker with desire to work in a fast-paced scaling international organization
- Highly organized, comfortable with developing, enhancing operational processes to support growth
- Proactive communicator with ability to establish rapport and work efficiently within all levels internally in the organization
The following are a bonus:
- Experience and/or familiarity with SaaS companies
- Experience assisting month end accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience with NetSuite accounting system
