The Commercial Operations team works across the entire organisation to help Tines grow as quickly as possible. We primarily partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and Finance, but in reality if we listed every team we work with we’d just be listing our entire org chart. That’s part of what makes this team such an exciting one to work in, with exposure to so many parts of the business and opportunities to learn and grow.That diversity of range means we need people who are able to wear multiple hats and work across multiple areas.

As a Revenue Operations, Analyst - Deal Desk on our team you will help us build, run and scale our deal operations.This involves supporting our sales teams with the operational execution of deals, helping facilitate day-to-day operations while also shaping our longer term processes, systems, and strategy in this area. We’re a fast-growing company so there’s enormous scope for the person in this role to own and shape this area, and grow and progress within the Commercial Operations team and beyond.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is highly-detail oriented, numerically literate, and very comfortable with spreadsheets. They should be highly organised and diligent.This candidate should also be a good communicator, both verbally and written, as you’ll be working with a wide array of teams and levels of seniority. Finally, this is a start-up, so ideally the person is excited by the prospect of coming in and being part of building something from the ground up with others who are equally energised by that same opportunity.

This role is based in Ireland. 

What you will be doing :

  • Deeply understand our pricing model in order to assist in designing, approving, and reviewing deals
  • Be a trusted advisor & go-to resource for our sales teams and leadership on deal structure, quoting, and order form creation; advises on alternate contract options to drive deal closure
  • Develop and manage our CPQ tool, DealHub, including day to day operations, administration, and implementation of new models
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Sales to facilitate, process and execute standard and non-standard deals
  • Review in-progress and executed Order Forms to ensure they align with the opportunity information included in Salesforce. Advise Sales on proper SFDC entry and assist as needed.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements to improve the overall efficiency of our deal execution
  • Help train and enable our sales organisation through trainings and first-class documentation 

What you bring with you: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in deal desk, sales/revenue operations, finance,  or a related function
  • Extremely organised with a very high level of attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and project manage incoming tasks while keeping cool under pressure
  • Highly organised and able to comfortably manage multiple tasks and deals simultaneously for multiple stakeholders.
  • A clear and thoughtful communicator in discussing and sharing sensitive data with a range of business functions
  • Not phased by ambiguity or uncertainty, and comfortable working in a dynamic and hyper-growth environment
  • Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets skills are required for this role
